“Seasons of the Year” International Fashion Festival was held in Odessa for eight times with a great success. The festival had proved its viability and had firmly occupied its niche in the cultural life of Odessa, Ukraine, and had also become a long-expected fashion event for designers of CIS countries and the far abroad. Main idea of the festival holding is a demonstration of creative abilities and talent of modern clothes creators, show-fashion, on the one hand, and support of young, creative modelers-fashion designers and organic entry of design masters into the all-European process of modern fashion tendencies formation, obtaining of mutually beneficial connections and contacts, on the other.

Unfortunately, many talented designers cannot show their mastery, and it is unlikely that someone would like to help them thus making them being forced to let their talents go to waste. Creation of clothes is a life purport for many of them. With their skill to create – they bring a holiday for one’s soul in our times of difficulties and unrest!

“Seasons of the year” Fashion festival gained popularity fare beyond the boundaries of Odessa, the time has come when the best, creative and talented designers of CIS countries can come to different cities of Ukraine, demonstrate their talents – modelers from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Belorussia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Baltic countries and also the near and abroad, about 20 collections.

Repeated winners and prize winners of festivals and fashion contests in CIS and abroad will submit to judgment of spectators various authors’ exclusive collections “pret-a-porter”, “haute couture”, “avant-garde”, “art-fashion”, and collections of modern national costume. Fits any taste from extravagant Amazon to the pedantic English ladies.

Festival program:
- Author’s collections of designers “art-fashion, show, avant-garde”;
- Author’s collections of designers “pret-a-porter”;
- Author’s collections of designers “haute couture”;
- Author’s collections “best national costume”.

The festival is planned with strong advertising support – radio, TV, outdoor advertising (posters, fliers), PR-actions, with the indication of General Sponsor, and there also will be a TV-version of “Seasons of the year” fashion festival on the air, on the most popular TV channels of Odessa, and also TV companies in the cities where the “Fashion tour” would be held with indication of all sponsors and festival organizers.

According to the statistics data Ukrainian population is improving its education and is striving to keep up with the modern life rhythm. It is interested in fashion tendencies, tending to healthy life-style and professional activity.

Fortunately, time when modern opinions of fashion industry were archaic and narrow is no more. We are educated, modern, have access to Internet, popular fashion magazines, satellite TV and we have a choice in today’s world. Young designers and their ideas – is our future. Knowledgeable and farsighted people understand it and are able to support their crazy ideas and make fantastic dreams come true. Maybe there is a future Tom Ford or Christian Dior among them, glamorous Valentino, and maybe reckless John Galliano, or Jean-Paul Goutier? Maybe you have noticed that all these are not Ukrainian designers but there are talented students, creating inimitable clothes collections Yes, they are not just in Ukraine, they are scattered all over CIS. They create collections, draw sketches that sometimes are not to come true. And they all hope for a miracle, that they would be noted, appraised and maybe helped.

There is “Ukrainian fashion week” held in Kiev all designers are desperate to get to but not all of them can afford one thousand euro participation fee.

Collections are created that are shown at the democratic fashion festivals, gaining praise and awards, but happy and fruitful future is not in store for all of them. “Seasons of the Year” International Fashion Festival unites creative and talented designers giving an opportunity to get familiarized with their collections to Ukrainian citizens and multinational guests of our country. To learn more of the culture of peoples of the near and far abroad of CIS countries. To open new names in the world of fashion for oneself, modern fashion tendencies, and also to have a glance at the fashion of tomorrow, at the future.
